History

Established in 1921, the World Education Fellowship (WEF) is an international, volunteer organisation with autonomous Sections in many countries of the world.

WEF has no political or religious affiliation. WEF's international headquarters are in London and it has consultative status with UNESCO as a non-government organization - NGO Category B.

Throughout its ninety-year history, WEF has been a clearing-house for progressive educational ideas, policy and practices.
