Welcome to the WEF Australia website!
Welcome to the website of the World
Education Forum (WEF) Australia. Our aims, purpose,
something of our history and a selection of our activities are set out
in this site, along with contact details for State, National and
International members of WEF.
The heart of WEF is our belief that education can play a key role in
establishing a world community characterised by peace, understanding,
sustainable development and cooperation. As such, it works closely with
other organisations committed to the same ideal, and in particular with
UNESCO.
There is so much to be done. So on behalf of the World Education
Fellowship in Australia, I invite you to join us to help achieve WEF's
aims. If you wish to join a State Section please contact your State
representative to discuss how you might like to be involved, and how the
particular activities which you believe are priorities might be
accommodated. We would like to discuss that with you to see how we can
support you and achieve our collective goals. Professor Colin Power AM
